*me mysteriously appears in a puff of smoke*
In a recent test I invigilated, there was plenty of
drama....
A few people didn't bring their matriculation cards even though
they know by now how important it is to produce official ID on
demand during tests.
For one of the students, the conversation I had with her went
something like this:
Me: Your matric card, please.
Student: Sir, I didn't bring it.
Me: Okay.... your IC, driving licence, or student pass then.
Student: Sir, I didn't bring my purse. I live in a Hall.
Me (getting exasperated): Okay, which class are you in?
Student: Sir.... I forgot which class I'm in.
Me (about to blow my top): Okay.... who's your tutor?
Student: Uhh.... that would be you.
I facepalmed right there and then. 
this explains the quality of the temp staff I sometimes end up
with.
